Bill brings 30 plus years of transformational leadership from within the food industry. Throughout his career, Bill has consistently been on the leading edge of change. Strategic in nature, combined with a background in Sales and a passion for Supply Chain, Bill has developed and executed distribution strategies for Oscar Mayer and Kraft Foodservice. His ability to establish strategic customer alliances resulted in multiple productivity initiatives and ultimately the development of Kraft’s Foodservice Distributor Development Team. Bill has developed skills in the areas of strategy, supply chain, pricing, trade development, contract negotiations, category management, sales management and project leadership.
Bill received Kraft Foods Superior Achievement Award for leading the integration of General Foods, Oscar Mayer, and Kraft products into one family of products for the Foodservice distribution business. Bill believes a company’s performance is driven through the values they live by and that values and performance must work hand in hand at every level throughout an organization. Throughout Bill’s career, his success has been the result of his ability to bring people and resources together, by working toward a common objective in an effort to reach a better place for all parties.
Upon retiring from Kraft Foods, Bill established Barker & Associates LLC in 2010, consulting with small to medium size companies who are within the growth stages of their business, working with them toward identifying and overcoming barriers to growth.
Bill earned a degree in Business Administration at Texas Christian University, and has continued his education in graduate courses from Syracuse University, Kellogg School of Business and University of North Florida.
Bill now works with the Pendaran Team in the area of Business Development, working with client organizations in bringing sustainable transformation.
